Boot Camps

Are you ready to get in touch with your athletic side and get in the best shape of
your life? In Boot Camp, you’ll work with partners, groups and teams in a fun,
encouraging environment that will get your heart pumping, tone your muscles and
bring you to the next level of fitness.

These circuit-training style fitness classes give you a complete workout that can
help shed pounds and tone up. They incorporate weights, jump ropes, resistance
bands, and more for a workout that is never boring. If you’ve discovered you’re not getting anywhere on that treadmill, it’s time to get
outside and go beyond what you thought you were capable of.

Personal Training

For those of you that want an individualized program designed to target your problem areas and meet your specific goals with a completely personalized touch, one on one personal training is for you. Each client receives a thorough assessment to determine body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, target weight, fitness level for strength and endurance, balance and flexibility, and a movement analysis.

After the client and I review the results and establish goals, I will develop a specific program to bring your fitness to a new level. Focused Integrated training programs address all areas of functional fitness, including strength, core conditioning, flexibility, balance, mobility, and endurance. These programs enable the client to improve their lean muscle mass, decrease body fat, boost their metabolism, and develop a toned, flexible and more athletic body.

Small Group Personal Training

Receive all of the benefits of personal training at a reduced price. Studies show, that people who exercise with one or more friends or partners are more likely to keep up their program. Being part of a small group makes you accountable. Schedule sessions with a spouse, friend, or ask to be placed in a group with people who have similar goals and fitness needs. Small group training is two to four people.

Sports Performance Training

Sports performance training can enhance the specific physical demands for any sport. Speed, agility, and quickness training along with strength and functional fitness work will help the athletes’ performance on the court, field or track. Get stronger, quicker, and faster. Improve coordination and develop smooth, efficient movement skills.

Sports Performance training can be scheduled as personal training sessions, small group sessions or team training. Week long Sports Performance Camps and one day clinics are scheduled several times throughout the summer and at various times during the year. Running / Race Preparation

Whether you’re running your first 5k race or training for a marathon, the right training program can get you to the finish line. Focused Integrated Training programs have helped clients have that wonderful feeling of accomplishment, be it finishing their first race to running a personal record time (PR) to qualifying for and completing the Boston Marathon. We train beginning runners to the elites.

Spinning Classes

Spinning is a 45 minute indoor cycling class that will get your heart pumping as you pedal to the cadence of the music beat. Burn up to 500 calories as your ride takes you through varied terrain including flat roads, hill climbs, and jumps on your way to a sprint to the finish line. Great low impact cardio cross training for runners or anyone who wants to increase their endurance and strength.

TRX Body Blast Training

TRX is a total body fitness program in a group setting. TRX stands for total body resistance exercise and uses the slogan “All Core All the Time.” Come and learn how you can use your own body weight to supply the resistance for an amazing 45 minute workout. Participants will also use jump ropes and kettle bells for an additional cardio core component.

Fitness Assessment

Fitness Assessment
Scheduling a fitness at the start of a new exercise program is a good idea. The information you receive will provide a baseline to use for comparison and measurement of your progress.

We start with basic information such as age, height and weight and health history, including current or past injuries, illness, medications, etc.

The assessment includes a variety of tools and measurements to determine your health and fitness status, such as, body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, and circumference measurement.

Movement patterns are observed to determine range of motion at each joint, mobility, imbalances, strengths and weaknesses for all muscle groups.

Lastly a fitness test is performed to measure upper and lower body strength, core stability, flexibility and cardio endurance.

The results that are found help to determine the program design for each person, as well as appropriate goals that are set by the client and trainer.
